The RESCOM project aims to promote the conservation and sustainable management of coastal, marine and island territories as well as wetlands and forests and to contribute to the preservation of this exceptional biodiversity, for the benefit of current and future communities.

Brought together within the Mediterranean Biodiversity Consortium, six organisations with complementary expertise are carrying out joint actions to preserve and restore Mediterranean biodiversity.

The Mediterranean Forest Weeks (MFW) were conceived as a common platform for regional cooperation on Mediterranean forests, aiming to improve the dialogue between the research community, policy makers and stakeholders

The RESTOR’MED FORESTS project aims to implement sustainable management actions for forest ecosystems around the Mediterranean basin, in order to make them more resilient and functional, while training technical staff and raising awareness among local populations.
