The “Good practice guide on lentisk fruit oil: from the field to the laboratory” has just been published!
Within the framework of the cooperation project “MEDLENTISK, Partnership for the exchange of good practices on fixed mastic tree oil, an emblematic non-wood forest product in the Mediterranean“, co-financed by the ERASMUS+ Program, the AIFM and its Mediterranean partners have worked on the publication of a book for people who want to learn more about the lentisk (Pistacia lentiscus). More specifically, about the oil from its fruit. It is a guide to its virtues, its uses over time, the ways in which the oil is extracted in the Mediterranean basin and the latest innovations to obtain better quality end products.
