HECTARES OF FORESTS & WOODED AREAS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
Since its creation in 1996, AIFM has spearheaded numerous collaborative projects aimed at addressing the challenges of Mediterranean forest management. Through a network of multidisciplinary experts, we have implemented 20 concrete initiatives to improve the health and resilience of these ecosystems. These projects have helped share knowledge, strengthen cross-border cooperation and advance forest policies at local, national and international levels. The Mediterranean Forest Weeks, organised by AIFM, are a highlight of these exchanges, where forest stakeholders come together to build a sustainable future.
